Local Contest Has People Working Off Weight

Max Impact Training holds a "Fall Back to Fitness" Transformation Contest, a team competition that has 42 people competing to get in fantastic shape and win cash prizes.

I just wanted to provide an update on Max Impact Training's "Fall Back to Fitness" Transformation Contest. I have to say I couldn't be more excited about this event. It is the first of it's kind that we have run at our new fitness facility at 5 Prospect Ave in White Plains.

What we did was set up a "team contest" where participants would be required to team up with two other participants in an effort to lose weight, as well as be eligible to win our grand prize of $1000.

There are three people to a team. We have 14 teams and 42 people enrolled in the contest.

The entire event will be running for 6 weeks.

In one week we have already had participants lose up to seven pounds, and that's just because one of our participants got excited and decided to jump on the scale. We will be performing our second weigh-in this week so we will be providing more details on weight loss next week.

Our boot camps are flooded with people. The energy and intensity of the workouts are through the roof! There is something about accountability, support, and motivation from your peers that really seems to get the best out of people.

I am sure that the $1,000 team and $250 individual prizes don't hurt the motivation either!

Overall, I am excited about the contest and the opportunity to help so many people get into the best shape of their lives. Will be keeping you posted on all of these contestants and their fantastic efforts.

Frank Daniels is the owner of Max Impact Training, a fitness facility located in White Plains.
