Fall Housing Market Starts with Diminished Inventory...

The fall market in residential real estate starts after Labor Day and usually continues through Thanksgiving.  Although inventory is diminished due to spring and summer sales, buyer activity is still strong in this market.

Smart sellers will price to the market, and smart buyers will take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves.  But sellers with inflated expectations of what their house is worth and buyers looking for a steal run the risk of missing the market entirely.
