The Auxiliary of White Plains Hospital is holding its annual Spring Luncheon on Wednesday May 2nd at 11:30 at the Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, NY and will feature a presentation by New York Times columnist and bestselling author, Andrew Ross Sorkin.
Mr. Sorkin is an anchor of the signature CNBC morning program, Squawk Box, and the Editor of Deal Book, a news site he founded published by The New York Times.
He is also the author of the bestselling book, "Too Big to Fail: The Inside Story of How Wall Street and Washington Fought to Save the Financial System—and Themselves," which chronicled the events of the 2008 financial crisis. The book won the 2010 Gerald Loeb Award for Best Business Book, and was shortlisted for the 2010 Samuel Johnson Prize and the 2010 Financial Times Business Book of the Year Award.
All proceeds from the luncheon and raffle ticket sales will go directly to support White Plains Hospital.
