YWCA Gets $40K Boost for Youth Mentoring Program

A $40,000 grant from the First Niagara Foundation will help boost the YWCA of White Plain's youth mentoring program, according to an announcement shared on Patch.

"Mentoring provides significant, tangible, positive changes for young people, including better grades and behavior, improved school attendance, and evidence of a brighter future,” said Gary Crosby, First Niagara's president and chief executive.
