Dr. Moed was recommended to me by a friend who is a dental hygienist. She had worked for a very prestigious dentist in New York City - so she knew excellent dental work. She recommended Dr. Moed and said he was extraordinary. I later discovered he teaches at New York University Dental School. I tried him and have been delighted with the care I’ve received. Most recently he replaced a front tooth. I am a very detail oriented person with an extreme sense of aesthetics. Dr. Moed was even more exacting in matching the new tooth to the adjacent ones. He wouldn’t settle for anything less that perfect. He’s also conservative in his recommendations. He doesn’t “sell” work or procedures to his patients. For example I had an intermittent mild tooth ache and rather that working on it immediately he counseled me to take a wait-and-see attitude.
Although he has high standards of excellence, he’s not arrogant as some perfectionist medical people can be. He is quite personable, easy to talk to, and empathic to the patient’s concerns. I can’t say enough good things about him and would recommend him to anyone who demands only the best dental care.
