Funeral Set for Former Priest of St Francis Assisi Church in White Plains

A funeral has been scheduled Thursday for the Rev. Canon Dr. Alvin E. Robinson at 11 a.m. inside St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Palm Coast, Fla.

Robinson, who was born March 28, 1928 in Silver City, Panama, died January 16, 2014 at Florida Hospital Flagler. He was 85 at the time of his death.

Ordained as an Episcopal priest in 1954 in Kingston, Jamaica, Robinson served as vicar and priest-in-charge of St Francis Assisi Episcopal Church in White Plains and served as a priest for a number of other charges in the U.S. and the Caribbean.
