Services Scheduled for Ruth Planos Bernstein, 55, of White Plains

Ruth Planos Bernstein, loving daughter, mommy, wife, and friend, dies at 55.
Dr. Planos was a devoted Clinical Psychologist who touched the lives of many. Her motto was “nadie me quita lo baila’o” (no one can take from me what I’ve danced).

She lived her life with enthusiasm and to the fullest never wanting to miss an opportunity or experience. She was a compassionate and empathetic soul who cared deeply for her family, friends, and the children she worked with. Her death will be profoundly felt by those whose lives she touched.

She is now “sleeping with the angels.” Dr. Planos is survived by her husband Richard Bernstein, son David Bernstein, and parents Felo and Berta Planos. In lieu of flowers please send a donation in her name to Gilda’s Club Westchester, 80 Maple Avenue, White Plains, NY 10601.
