A wake has been scheduled Tuesday for Rodney H. "Rusty" Fowlkes, who died Sunday after a longtime battle with an illness. He was 71.
Fowlkes graduated from White Plains High School, and served in the United States Army. He retired after more than 20 years as an officer for the Westchester County Department of Corrections in Valhalla.

The wake will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Lee's Funeral Home, located at 160 Fisher Ave. in White Plains.
