News 12 Westchester Anchor/Reporter Tara Rosenblum Breaks Two New York Emmy Records in 2014

News 12 Westchester is pleased to announce that award-winning anchor/reporter Tara Rosenblum broke two long standing New York Emmy® records this year.  She received the most 2014 New York Emmy® award nominations of any reporter in the competition, and she received more individual craft nominations in the history of the New York Emmy® awards.   Ms. Rosenblum’s work is being recognized in a variety of categories, including journalistic enterprise, reporting and news writing.  She achieved seven individual craft categories nominations, as well as another five nominations for programming categories.

Ms. Rosenblum joined News 12 in 2004 as a reporter and fill-in anchor.  Since then she has earned more than 100 major industry awards, including four Emmy® awards and 35 Emmy® nominations, four of those nominations were  for New York’s top “General Assignment” reporter.  While at News 12, Ms. Rosenblum has reported on a number of major events, including the conviction and sentencing of Bernard Madoff, the 9/11 emergency responders’ health crisis, the Virginia Tech massacre, Hurricane Katrina and more.  She was a Walter Cronkite political fellow and spends much of her time producing, writing and reporting News 12’s political coverage.  Before joining News 12, she began her career interning at CNN’s White House unit and worked at CBS News during the 2000 presidential elections.  Additionally, Rosenblum worked at two NBC affiliates before planting roots in Westchester.
