Westchester Magazine's Fourth Annual Wine & Food Week to Benefit Local Organizations

Westchester Magazine’s Fourth Annual Wine & Food Week proudly announced today that the co-beneficiaries for this year’s feature events will be the Food Bank for Westchester and Friends of Westchester County Parks. These non-profit organizations will benefit from a series of events taking place from June 3rd- 8th.

“We are so happy that two important and deserving organizations will profit from Wine & Food Week,” said Ralph Martinelli, Publisher of Westchester Magazine. “The Food Bank for Westchester and Friends of Westchester County Parks provide critical services to Westchester County residents. We value their role in our community and want to recognize them for their ongoing services and endless contributions.”

The Food Bank for Westchester is a vital organization that is the backbone of the food distribution system in Westchester. It supports more than 265 front-line hunger relief programs throughout the county.  The Food Bank provides 95 percent of all the food given to hungry families, children and seniors as cooked meals or groceries to take home. Last year, the Food Bank distributed over 7.4 million pounds of food and 6.2 million meals to those hungry or at risk of hunger.
