A couple from Denmark visiting New York City said they wanted to take a day trip "upstate." They don't have a car, so they'd have to rely on mass transit, which in this case, would probably mean Metro-North.
Most people use Metro-North primarily as a commuter train, to get back and forth to the city for work or entertainment. What about taking Metro-North (or other mass transit) from the city for a fun day trip in Westchester, Rockland or Putnam?
I thought I'd ask the experts—Patch readers. Where should this Danish couple go to have a great day out in the Hudson Valley without using a car to get there?
Let us know in the comments section below—they're only here for a week!
