White Plains Hospital is Shining a Light on Breast Cancer Awareness

Hospital plans several breast cancer events in the community for October

White Plains Hospital is turning on the pink all month long. Throughout the month of October, the Hospital will bring awareness to breast cancer and the importance of early detection. Highlights of the month include an inspiring fashion show featuring a group of brave breast cancer survivors, a physician panel discussion at Bloomingdales, and a series of educational events and fundraisers.

“We are excited to ‘Shine the Light’ on breast cancer this October,” said Dawn French, Vice President, Marketing and Community Relations at White Plains Hospital. “Most of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, and by raising awareness, we hope to help patients undergoing treatment as well as encourage screening and early detection. We appreciate the great response we have received from community partners and look forward to a series of successful events.”
