Bar Patron Accused of Throwing Punch at Bouncer

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A frustrated bar patron was arrested after he took a swing at a bouncer trying to throw him out of a White Plains establishment, police say.

Police were conducting bar patrol near 25 Waller Ave. at about 2:50 a.m. on Aug. 18 when they noticed a 23-year-old male being removed from a nearby bar. Police say the man was shouting at bouncers as they walked him out and then tried to bunch the bouncer.

The 23-year-old, who police say was intoxicated, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, a violation.

The suspect was processed at police headquarters and released on $100 bail.
