A White Plains man has admitted to raping a woman on Lake St. in White Plains this March.
Alberto Gomez Ojeda, 29, pleaded guilty to one count of predatory sexual assault in the first-degree, a Class A felony, according to the Westchester County district attorney's office.
Ojeda raped a 26-year-old female in the area of Lake St. shortly after midnight on March 30, according to the DA's office. He approached the woman from behind as she walked home and placed a knife against the woman's neck and face before dragging her down a dark driveway and raping her, the DA said.
Ojeda fled the scene, but was arrested by White Plains police on April 1. He left a Lake St. address, but operators of that building have denied that he lived there.
Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 13, 2012. Ojeda has been remanded until his sentencing date.
Assistant District Attorney Wendy Parra of the sex crimes bureau prosecuted the case.
