Cops: Police Dog Uncovers Crack-Cocaine

White Plains police arrest two after making a traffic stop.

A traffic stop Sunday in White Plains led to police uncovering crack-cocaine with the help of its K-9 unit, according to authorities.

Police pulled over a white Ford pickup at around 12:14 a.m. Sunday for a vehicle and traffic stop -- but during an investigation, the cops' K-9 unit alerted the officers to the presence of narcotics, authorities said.

Police found seven grams of crack-cocaine tucked into the car's bench seat, police said, and made two arrests.

Tracey Brabha, 43, and Geoffrey Ruff, 51, both White Plains residents, were arrested and charged with varying degrees of criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.

The two were held overnight and arraigned the next morning, police said.
