Death of Main Street Mother Ruled a Homicide

Sabrina Durrah, 35 of White Plains, was found in her apartment at 312 Main St.

 

White Plains police are currently investigating the death of Sabrina Durrah, 35, of 312 Main St. whose body was found in her apartment Saturday morning.

Police responded to a call of an unresponsive female around 12:11 p.m. and found Durrah in apartment 3H, along with her 4 month-old daughter who was treated for dehydration at a local hospital. The infant is currently in stable condition

“After consultation with medical examiner, the investigation is being carried out as a homicide,” said White Plains Public Safety Commissioner David Chong. “We are asking anybody that may have seen Sabrina before Saturday at noon or that bumped into her to please give White Plains detectives a call at 914. 422 6217. All calls are kept confidential. This investigation is very active at this time and the detectives are following up on numerous leads.”
