Heroin Bust Leads to Felony Charge, Police Say

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A White Plains man faces two felony drug charges after police arrested him as part of a narcotics investigation.

Barry Brown, 52, of 150 Lake St., was arrested on Nov. 21 at about 8:30 a.m. on S Lexington Ave. in White Plains. Police say Brown was carrying 17 glassine envelopes containing about 6.5 grams of heroin when he was taken into custody.

Police charged Brown with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd and 4th degree—both felonies.

Brown was processed at police headquarters and held for arraignment.
