Man Accused of Charging at Cop on Mam'k Ave.

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

An Amawalk, NY, man faces a pair of disorderly conducted citations after police say he ran after a police officer under the influence of drugs.

Police were conducting bar patrol along Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains at about 1:35 a.m. Sunday when they say the 21-year-old man suspiciously approached an officer from behind. After another officer interviened and asked the 21-year-old to leave the scene, police say the man ran toward the same officer again.

Police restrained the man and placed him under arrest. He was taken to police headquarters and cited twice for disorderly conduct, a violation.
