Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Stabbing Case Worker

Jamile Wilson, of White Plains, pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted murder on June 11.

A judge has sentenced a White Plains man to serve 15 years in prison for stabbing a case worker who was providing treatment in his apartment.

Jamile Wilson, 28, to second-degree attempted murder in the stabbing of Frances Mortenson, a 48-year-old case worker from St. Vincent's Hospital in Harrison. Wilson was sentenced Thursday in White Plains.

On Jan. 19, 2011, Mortenson in the face, neck, chest and abdomen after he became upset with her in his 235 S Lexington Ave. apartment. Mortenson managed to call 9-1-1 and was treated for her injuries at Westchester Medical Center. Police arrested Wilson that day.
