A tip from a neighbor led to police finding two men who had snuck into a White Plains car dealership early Tuesday morning, police say.
Police responded to the Sholz Buick dealership at 97 W Post road at about 1:43 a.m., according to an arrest report. The neighbor had tipped-off police, saying several people had walked into the dealership after-hours and were loitering in the building.
Although police believe some of the people inside left by the time they arrived, they found two White Plains men—one a 23, the other 33—hiding out in the building, according to an arrest report.
Both men were charged with criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, and held for court.
