Police: Man Caught Twice Stealing Video Games

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Yonkers man was charged with two counts of petty larceny after police say he was caught stealing video games from Sears in White Plains on two separate occasions. 

Store security called police after a 48-year-old man was caught walking out of the store on Oct. 10 with 10 videogames valued at $439.90, according to an arrest report. The man was arrested and transported to police headquarters just after 11 a.m.

Security also recognized the suspect from a previous incident, police say. Video surveillance in the store revealed that the same man stole six video games valued at about $299.94 on Sept. 12, police say.

Police charged the man with two counts of petty larceny, misdemeanors. He was held for arraignment.
