Police: Man Pulls Knife During Argument

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Sleepy Hollow man threatened a co-worker with a knife late last week before an 18-year-old who intervened stopped him, police say.

Karim Clarke, 29, of 188 Cortlandt St., Sleepy Hollow, was arrested just before 7 p.m. on Aug. 31 at a hotel kitchen at 95 S. Broadway. Police say Clarke was arguing with a 20-year-old co-worker when he walked to his dishwashing station and grabbed a six-inch knife.

Police say Clarke walked toward the 20-year-old holding the knife in a threatening way before the 18-year-old co-worker stepped in and broke up the dispute.

Clark was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth-degree, a misdemeanor. He was held for court.
