A 29-year-old man told police he was threatened with a knife Monday morning after exchanging glances with a 57-year-old man at the intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd. and Court Street.
According to an arrest report, the 29-year old was walking near the food court entrance to the at about 10:15 a.m. when the 57-year-old, who lives in White Plains, angrily asked what he was looking at.
During an ensuing confrontation the 29-year-old told police the other man pulled a large knife from a black computer bag and threatened to stab him. The 29-year-old called police, who charged the 57-year-old with misdemeanor menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
An arrest report did not indicate if the knife was found.
The 57-year-old was held for court.
