White Plains Santa Express Rides Again
The White Plains Professional Firefighters Local 274 made their annual rounds spreading holiday joy throughout the city Wednesday with the Santa Express.
Dozens of children and their families shouted and cheered as Santa Claus arrived at the John A. Coleman School for special needs children Wednesday afternoon on the Santa Express.
Every year, for more than 30 years, the decks out one of the 's trucks and visits city students, seniors and the sick with Santa and other holiday characters bringing gifts and candy.
Local 274 also calls on the kindness of local businesses—like , , , and who all donated this year—to offer funding and donations for gifts they hand out.
