Shoplifting Charged at H&M, Macy’s, Stop & Shop and Walmart

Shoplifting Charged at H&M, Macy’s, Stop & Shop and Walmart.

Four individuals were charged with misdemeanor petty larceny Tuesday.

At 2:15 p.m. police arrested a 29-year-old woman for allegedly stealing 39 miscellaneous items, and a red pair of shoes from at 275 Main St.

About 15 minutes later, City police arrested a 21-year-old White Plains woman for allegedly thieving $240 worth of groceries and other items from , at 154 Westchester Ave., after pretending to pay for the items at a self-checkout register.

About 15 minutes after that—a 17-year-old allegedly tried to leave at , 100 Main St., without paying for three shirts, worth $53.83, he concealed in a bag. The 17-year-old was released without bail, unlike the other three charged with petty larceny who all had bail set at $500—according to police reports.

Later that night at 10:35 p.m., police picked up a 21-year-old Dobbs Ferry resident who allegedly attempted to steal $642 worth of items from various departments at in The Galleria.

The woman was also charged misdemeanor possession of burglar’s tools and misdemeanor criminal mischief in the fourth degree for damaging a package of kitchen knives.
