State Police: Use Caution, Patience Driving During Winter Storm ‘Janus'

From New York State Troop K Headquarters:

The New York State Police from Troop K, covering Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester Counties, would like to remind motorist to exercise due care when traveling the roadways during the next several hours.

Inclement weather, consisting of snow and cold temperatures, is expected to continue throughout the morning hours of January 22, 2014, particularly in Westchester and Putnam Counties.  This storm will make all roadways slick and unpredictable.  

Allow adjustments to your schedule to ensure safe travel or simply avoid unnecessary travel.  If you must drive, use extreme caution and drive slow.
