Nordstrom Worker Charged in $1.3K Return Scam

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Nordstrom employee faces a felony charge after police say she refunded more than $1,300 in fake returns to store gift cards over a four-month period.

Police charged Laura Siriqo, 55, of 3 Windmill Rd., White Plains, with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Siriqo had been returning merchandise from the store's back stock and placing the value on gift cards. Security believes the thefts took place from May 28 to Sept. 12 of this year, according to an arrest report. Security called police after noticing the scheme on Oct. 19, police said.

Siriqo was transported to police headquarters and held for court.
