Teen Caught Stealing Clothes From H&M, Police Say

A White Plains teenager was arrested this week after mall security caught her shoplifting from the in the Galleria at White Plains, police say.
Security guards watched the girl place two shirts and a skirt in a shopping bag and try to leave the store at about 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 20, police say.

The girl was held until police arrived and charged her with petit larceny—a misdemeanor. She was later released.
