Thief Steals Electronics, Food, From WP Business

Smartphones, televisions and food from the break room were reported stolen.

A thief made off with thousands of dollars worth of electronics during a break-in at an office on E Post Road, police say.

Employees at Atlantis Business Consulting at 200 E Post Rd. reported the incident to police just after 9 a.m. Thursday morning. The employees discovered three cell phones, two flat-screen televisions and several other items were removed from the office overnight.

Police say all of the food from the office refrigerator was also taken, as well as the personal file of an employee at the office.

The following electronics were reported stolen, according to police:

  • Two 40-inch flat screen televisions ($400 each)
  • An Xboom radio ($150)
  • Three Samsung phones ($400 each)
  • A Blackberry phone ($100)
  • A drill $100

A locked room in the office was also broken into and $500 worth of gift cards, a $100 ring and a purse and wallet were also reported missing.
