Seventy new officers graduated from the Westchester Police Academy today at a ceremony held at SUNY Purchase College Campus. The new officers, who completed 20 weeks of training at the police academy in Valhalla, are now headed off to work at 18 law enforcement agencies in Westchester and beyond.
Among the graduates were White Plains Police Officers John D. Guastella, Jamel N. Jones, Tyler J. Hinkley, Douglas A. Giusti, Matthew Rokicki, Luis A. Muniz III, Bryan F. Rushneck and Anthony I. Omoruan.
Three of the new White Plains Officers also brought home Top Honor Awards as follows:
