White Plains Mayor on the Death of Kenneth Chamberlain Sr.

The following is a statement from White Plains Mayor Tom Roach

From the date this tragedy occurred I have called for a thorough and complete investigation. I have supported and continue to fully support, as have my Council colleagues, the investigation of District Attorney Janet DiFiore and the grand jury.

A full investigation is owed to the late Mr. Chamberlain, his family, the police officers involved and our community. Our great city deserves nothing less.

Come on Tom! You can't have this guy out on our streets anymore. He's already being sued for a prior incident. I don't want him coming to my house in an emergency! Would you want him to come to your house? White Plains demands better!

Way to make the Chamberlain family feel consoled with such a strong and courageous statement as that Tom! It takes a real man and leader to put yourself out on a limb like that. Maybe, if you really screw your courage up, you might even be brave enough to offer condolences to the family.
