White Plains Public Safety Commissioner on Death of Kenneth Chamberlain Sr.

The following is a statement from White Plains Public Safety Commissioner David Chong

Since this incident occurred the City of White Plains and the White Plains Department of Public safety have cooperated fully with the Westchester County District Attorney’s office in their investigation.

The Public Safety Department notified the District Attorney’s office of this incident shortly after it occurred and they responded to the scene. Within a matter of days the Public Safety Department was advised that this matter would be presented to a Grand Jury.

The Department has turned over all evidence in its possession to the District Attorney’s office. We are confident that the presentation to the Grand Jury will be thorough.
