Woman Accused of Shoplifting at Old Navy
The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.
A woman was charged with petty larceny after police say she tried to steal seven shirts and a jacket from Old Navy Wednesday evening.
Store security told police they noticed a 50-year-old woman from Mt. Vernon removing items from store shelves and watched her try to leave the store without paying. The woman was stopped on her way out at about 5:40 p.m., police say.
Police took the woman into custody and charged her with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. She was held for court.
