Woman Accused of Stealing $1,700 Worth of High-End Clothing

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 22-year-old woman from Old Greenwich has been charged with felony grand larceny after police say she tried to steal more than $1,700 in high-end clothing and accessories from Neiman Marcus in The Westchester Mall.

Store security reported seeing Kaylie Blom, 22, of 22 Shady Brook Ln., placing a shirt in her handbag before walking out of the store at about 1:46 p.m. Sunday. Security followed Blom outside and stopped her near a mall exit.

According to an arrest report, security found an additional four shirts, a pair of pants, watch and two wallets hidden in Blom's bag. Police say the items taken are worth about $1,778.

Blom was charged at police headquarters and later released on $750 bail.
