White Plains Public Safety Commissioner David Chong announced the arrest of Michael Saunders, who was charged with murder in the second degree for the homicide of Sabrina Durrah, a 35-year-old White Plains mother.
Durrah was found in her apartment at 312 Main St. on Saturday afternoon, along with her dehydrated 4-month-old infant, who now is in good condition. Click for the initial story on Durrah’s death.
The 49-year-old, who lives at 361 Warburton Ave., was arrested Monday night and charged early Tuesday morning. He is expected to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon. Police said they will not be releasing any further information about the homicide until after the arraignment.
