City to Discuss Dedicating Parkland, Amending Ethics Code, Salvation Army Site Plan, Pending Litigation

Last night the council—minus Councilman John Martin who was absent—approved a $1.5 loan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The loan will help fund the construction of the on the condition that HUD give the White Plains Housing Authority a grant of at least $3.5 million for the project.

At tonight's special meeting, called early Thursday afternoon—the council will discuss a proposed site plan application for the Salvation Army; the dedication of certain parcels of parkland; and proposed amendments to the City's code of ethics.
The council will then enter into executive session to discuss pending litigation.
