WHAT: The White Plain Branch of the NAACP is holding a press conference on the police killing of Mr. Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. at the Thomas Slater Center at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, May 12, 2012.

Speakers are: Hazel Dukes, President, New York Conference of NAACP Branches; Lena Anderson, President, White Plains NAACP Branch; Leroy Gadsden; Representatives from the Chamberlain Family, Clergy and Community Representatives

WHY:  The Press Conference is being held to call for justice in the police killing of Mr. Kenneth Chamberlain an African American Veteran in his home by White Plains Police Officers, and to demand that the U.S. Justice Department investigate and prosecute this case to the fullest extent of the law, as well as investigate the multiple killings of African American Males by Westchester County Police Officers. 

The press conference is also being held to call attention to the actions and role of the district attorney in the investigation of this case.
