The DoubleTree by Hilton-Tarrytown invited couples that held their wedding receptions at the hotel since it opened in 1961 to attend a special event at the hotel, as part of a yearlong celebration of its fiftieth anniversary.

White Plains couple Justin and Michelle Weissberg were among the two dozen people who came back to the DoubleTree on Sept. 16 to reminisce about their wedding day. They were married at the DoubtleTree Oct. 10, 2010.

2.) Father and Child Golf Day

The White Plains Youth Bureau’s Fatherhood Initiative is hosting a free golf clinic Saturday, Sept. 24 (rain date Oct. 1) from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at . RSVP is required, contact Edwin Scott at 914-422-1378 ext. 2103 or  escott@whiteplainsny.gov for more information.
