Stepinac to Present 'A Christmas Carol—The Musical'

Show times are set for Dec. 7, 8 and 9.

Kick-starting the excitement of the holiday season, Archbishop Stepinac High School's drama club will present "A Christmas Carol—The Musical' Dec. 7 - 9 at the school's Major Bowes Theater.

The drama cast includes 42 student actors and a stage crew of 39 from Stepinac and female cast members from nine nearby high schools. 

“We’re very excited by the opportunity to present this wonderful musical at the height of the holiday season,” said Frank Portanova, Stepinac’s drama club director. “It’s a great experience for the students and an opportunity for them to participate in telling this timeless tale through the musical format.”

A holiday classic, A Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a man given a tour of Christmas past, present and future to change his ways.

Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for senior citizens and children under 12. They can be purchased by calling (914)946-4800 ext. 200.
