White Plains School Budget Sees Overwhelming Approval

White Plains residents voiced a resounding "yes" to the school district's 2013-14 budget Tuesday, with 78.8-percent of voters in favor of the $193 million plan.

Some 692 residents voted in favor, with 186 voting against.

The two uncontested candidates seeking school board seats also won, with Charlie Norris receiving 700 votes and Sheryl Brady receiving 727 votes.
