County Center Tidbits

The semifinals and finals of the Section 1 boys basketball tournament are being held at the Westchester County Center in White Plains this week.

The Archbishop Stepinac boys basketball squad will be participating in the CHSAA AA Intersectional Playoffs.

No. 6 Stepinac will play No. 3 Christ The King at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, March 1 at St. Francis Prep in an opening-round matchup.

In a playoff game with 17-8 Baruch, at N.Y.'s ARC arena on the 19th, the C.C.N.Y. Beavers season ended, as they lost to Baruch, 72-43, with Donika Texhepi (White Plains ‘08) tying for game high points, with 15, the result of her 5 field goals, 1 trey, plus 2 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals.

With this game, the White Plains senior's college career came to its end. The Beavers' record was 5-20: 3-9.
