Excessive Heat Warning Issued; Temperatueres Expected to Reach 100 in White Plains

The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for Westchester County today from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The heat index, which measure how hot the weather feels like, is expected to be about 107 in White Plains today.

Temperatures are expecting to hit 100 in White Plains today, with a heat index of 107, according to the National Weather Service.

Residents are advised to reschedule strenuous activities to earlier in the day or the evening, to wear light weight and loose fitting clothing and to drink plenty of water.
