Why Go: Meet the center’s goats and help take them for a stroll. Join a Nature Center naturalist for an informative stroll through their trails and see what catches the goats’ attention.

Toy Time with Dinosaurs and Teen Movie Night at White Plains Library

When/Where: Dinosaurs are on Saturday July 28, 1-4 p.m. and the movie is also Saturday, at 2 p.m. at the .

Why Go: Dinosaurs are visiting The Trove: You and your child are invited to enjoy creative, imaginary play with their collection of dinosaurs.

And for teens: The library is offering a different movie each week with pizza and refreshments.Saturday’s featured film is Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride.”

Seussical on Stage in Yorktown

Season Opening of Wildflower Island

When/Where: Saturday, July 28, 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m; Sunday at 1:30 p.m. through September 30 at in Ossining

Why Go: Within the greater Teatown preserve is a unique 2-acre sanctuary that is home to over 230 native and endangered species of wildflowers. Experienced guides lead visitors along a wondrous tour, describing the unique features of the island’s wildflowers, most of which are native to the area.

Yonkers Philharmonic Under the Stars

Why Go:  Yonkers Philharmonic Maestro James Sadewhite will lead the orchestra in this "Music Around the World" concert.
