Previewed a moving sale that I wanted to share...
Why should you go tag-saling? Have you not been reading my Blog? There is literally something for everyone out there. I look for old paper, gadgets and the stories that go with them. I will go to all kinds of sales because even at moving sales you can find a good deal.
Take a quick trip to 62 Ives Farm Rd in Brewster, NY today and tomorrow, near I-84 and peruse that packed garage, floor to ceiling bookcase, the many decorative items around the house, including boxes yet to be unpacked.
In an economy where it still pays to look for a deal, you can't do better than a motivated seller looking to close and clear out. I was impressed with the $50 Albert Bierstadt framed print (see image), but you might be interested in getting a deal on the Prada alligator purse (image).
My favorite item was the over-sized 2nd edition Webster dictionary. Why? Because large old books are known for hiding buried treasure. Click here to see the prize I found in a 1930 edition some years back.
