Description: Into Me is a full service Wellness Center that offers fitness training, colonics, Far Infra Red Sauna, Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy, Pain Management therapy and more. On Saturday, Aug. 10, the Center will celebrate its grand opening with food, refreshments, a free raffle and 20 percent off any service or package of sessions purchased.

White Plains: Apocalypse Event: August 10th, White Plains
Where: Comic Book Heaven at 200 Hamilton Avenue (White Plains Mall)
When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: $10 entry fee.
Description: This Saturday August 10, the Battle For Salvation Gaming club will be hosting an Apocalypse event at Comic Book Heaven at 200 Hamilton Avenue (White Plains Mall) in White Plains, NY. The event will run from 10 AM to about 6 PM, Imperial vs. Xenos 2000-2500 points per player. $10 entry fee will cover prize support.
White Plains: Pizza and Movie Saturdays - The First Time
Where: White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave., White Plains
When: Saturday, August 10, 2013, 2 p.m.
Cost: Free
Description: Teens are invited to watch The First Time in an air conditioned room. Pizza & refreshments will be served.
White Plains: Gardella Culture Fest & Family Day
Where: Gardella Park, located on Ferris Avenue in White Plains
When: Sunday, August 11, 2013, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Cost: Free
Description: The White Plains Recreation and Parks Department and the White Plains Community Action Program will host a day of music, entertainers and food at Gardella Park from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. The Peter Pucci Plus Dancer will perform at 6 p.m., the high school basketball championship games takes place at 6:30 p.m. and the adult championship basketball games takes place at 8 p.m.

Croton: Rummage Sale

Description: Big plates of peach shortcake, ice cream and whipped cream will be the featured attraction. Various children’s activities and games will be included. Weather permitting, the
festivities will be held on the front lawn under the shade trees. If it rains, the peach shortcake & ice cream will be served up in the Parish Hall behind the church at 44 Edgemont Road. Come celebrate the pleasures of a good old-fashioned summer with your family!
Mt. Kisco: Bees at Westmoreland Sanctuary
Where: Westmoreland Sanctuary, 260 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Mt. Kisco

Cost: Free for members, $5 for non-members
Description: Learn about the role of Honeybees and other native pollinators in our local environment. A slide show and lecture explaining the role of insect pollination, natural history of the honey bee, and their relation to native insect pollinators will be followed by a walk outdoors to see who is pollinating flowers in the sanctuary’s gardens and habitats. The walk will be canceled in the event of rain.
Ossining: Ossining’s Bicentennial Movies Under the Stars presents Jaws
Where: Louis Engel Waterfront Park, Westerly Road, Ossining

Description: The Village of Ossining’s Bicentennial Celebration continues with a showing of the 1975 cult classic Jaws on the beach at Louis Engel Waterfront Park. Starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, and Richard Dreyfuss. Pre-movie concert featuring classic-rock trio Powderfinger begins at 7:30 p.m. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring a blanket or comfortable low-back chair. Port Chester: Shakespeare in The Park
When: Pine Ridge Park Aug. 8 and 9 and Pine Ridge Park in Rye Brook Aug. 10. All performances are at 5:45 p.m.
Cost: Suggested donations are $20 general public and $15 for seniors 65 and older and children 12 and under.
Description: Port Chester Council for the Arts presents LawnChair Theater, a Shakespeare production in the park, this weekend with a Mad Men-inspired performance of “The Taming of the Shrew.” Details here.
Sleepy Hollow: Annual Small Press Celebration
