Helen Hess to perform at Trinity Lutheran Church

Helen Hess, principal violist at the Civic Orchestra of Chicago will perform at the Christmas Concert at Trinity Lutheran Church December 23, 2013 at 7:30. She is a White Plains High School graduate and Trinity Lutheran member.  She holds a bachelor's degree from Boston Conservatory and master's degree in viola performance from De Paul University.

The popular tri-state performing band SNAPPAHEAD will play their heavy metal version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town.  Band musicians include Steve Werner, Anthony Fragnito, Doug Palmer, and Mike Miranda. 

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Trombone Authority will perform a special arrangement of the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky.  Ensemble members include Sun He, Matt Gould, Jeremy Cohen, and Samuel Riss.

Other performers include Rebecca Riss on soprano sax, vocalist Debra Hess, and blue’s musician Leon Jones.  

Jonathan Riss, music director will conduct the Trinity Lutheran choral arrangements.

All are welcome. Santa will have a grab bag and some gifts at the reception and you can meet the performing musicians.
