White Plains Council Holds FASNY Vote Thursday; DAE Holds Open House for 3D Printer

MONDAY: A small group is expected to meet at the White Plains Train Station today at 5 p.m. to sing Christmas Carols at the train station.

MONDAY: The White Plains Board of Education is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 p.m. inside the district’s Education House, located at 5 Homeside Ln. The board will immediately move into executive session to discuss negotiations and matters involving employment of a particular person

TUESDAY: The Digital Arts Experience is having an open house for its 3D printer Tuesday, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. During the event, the DAE will explore the technology and discover how it can offer a lot more than simply the ability to print really neat objects. WEDNESDAY: SCORE Westchester, located at 120 Bloomingdale Road in White Plains, is hosting “FREE ~ Grow Your Business with Email and Social Media”  Wednesday at 1 p.m. This workshop, presented by Ellen Williams of Constant Contact,’ is an interactive seminar where key concepts of email and social media marketing are discussed and developed. THURSDAY: The White Plains Common Council is scheduled to have a special meeting tonight at 6p.m. During the meeting, council is expected to vote on the findings statement for the proposed French American School campus on Ridgeway.
