- The White Plains Library is showing “Monsters University” Friday at 3 p.m. during its “Trove @ The Movies” program.
- The White Plains Library is scheduled to host Family Storytime: "Celebrate Hanukkah" Sunday at 2 p.m. The interactive storytime will feature crafts and snacks for children 3 and older. To make sure that everyone is safe & comfortable, tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis 30 minutes before the start of the program.
- The City of White Plains will kick off the start of the holiday season on Sunday, Dec. 1, during the White Plains’ annual City Lights, Bright Holiday Nights Community Tree and Dreidel Lighting Celebration from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Tibbits Park. The celebration of City Lights will continue on Monday, Dec. 2 at 6 pm in Renaissance Plaza on Main Street between Court Street and Martine Avenue.
