WESTMED Offers Free Talks for Women's Health Week

WESTMED Medical Group, a Purchase-based multi-specialty group medical practice, will offer the women of Westchester and surrounding communities a full schedule of free programs during National Women’ Health Week, which kicks off on Mother’s Day, May 12 and is celebrated until May 18. They can register for as many of the talks as they wish. 

A variety of programs will be held at all 4 of WESTMED’s large offices: at 210 Westchester Avenue, White Plains, 1 Theall Road, Rye, 171 Huguenot Street, New Rochelle and Ridge Hill in Yonkers. The presenters will be expert WESTMED specialists and primary care physicians speaking on a wide range of topics from how to prevent varicose veins to taking nutritional supplements and secrets to anti-aging. 

Dr. Erika Krauss, a WESTMED internist says, “The talks are being given in order to educate women and teenage girls about early detection, prevention and basically taking better care of ourselves.”
