The Cross County Mall in Yonkers has announced the details of SummerFest 2013, a slate of free concerts, fireworks displays and outdoor movies.
"Throughout the summer, there is something for everyone at the Cross County Shopping Center, whether you like music, art, or want to enjoy classic summer films," said Liz Pollack, senior marketing manager with the mall.
Pollack noted the festivities will also line up with summer sales at several shops and restaurants.
Parking at the mall is free, and SummerFest is slated to run from June 13 to August 21.
The Cross County Shopping Center is located at 800 Mall Walk, Yonkers.

GENERAL EVENT SCHEDULE:
- Concerts: Wednesdays, June 19 – August 21, 7PM
- Movies: Thursdays, June 13 and 27, July 11 and 25, August 8, 8PM
- Fireworks: Wednesday, July 3 (Concerts begin at 1PM, Fireworks at 9:30PM)
- Sidewalk Chalk Art Expo: Saturday, August 10, 8AM – 5PM
- Children’s Art Entertainment: Fridays June 28, July 19, August 2 and 16, 9AM – 11AM
- Events are FREE to the public.
- Guests can bring beach blankets and chairs to enjoy the concerts and movies on The Green, in the center of the mall between A│X Armani Exchange and Zales. View the Fireworks throughout the center. ArtFest activities take place near Gap.
- Shoppers can take advantage of a Retailer Dining & Savings Guide available throughout the summer.
- Shoppers will be able to enter a sweepstakes program throughout the summer to win prizes and giveaways.
- During the concerts there will be an interactive intermission show.
- Before the opening of the movies there will be a fun performance from 7:30pm to 8:15pm.
